Nature camp for Teachers |
A Nature Camp for teachers was organized by EPCO on the occasion of workshop on “Forest rights act 2006”on 9th September.About 50 teachers form 15 district had been participated in this camp.The destination “Tilaksindoor”was about 25 Km far from Itarsi(Distt-Hoshangabad) and Famous for Ancient Temple of lord Shiva.The place was also fully blessed of nature beauty and a perennial flowing waterbody one sided surrounded by hillocks.The two resource persons of Bhopal birds has been given information about Flora and Fauna of the area and some species of birds were also sighted during this camp like Golden oriole,White Throated Kingfisher,Golden Fronted Leafbird,Spotted Dove etc and many rare medicinal plant like Vajradanti,Aloe vera,Lemon grass etc. |
